In the AES project, we have launched our mentoring platform and our Language Exam Scholarship. These programs are an essential part of our AES project. Graphic Designer (Entry Level) (m/w/d)
Volunteering (non-paid), 4-6 Hours weekly
Job Description:
A graphic designer at the German-Syrian Research Society is expected to be able to master the followings:
– Create materials by hand or by using technology including computer software e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
– Convey Ideas and Articles into graphics.
– Represent the visual identity of the organization and convey its Vision.
The following knowledge and skills are a plus:
– Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, annual reports, advertisements, and other
communication materials.
– Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the management communications.
Responsibilities:
As a graphic designer at the German-Syrian Research Society you would responsible of the followings:
– Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
– Develop illustrations, logos and other designs.
– Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
– Test graphics across various media
– Amend designs after feedback
In time and with experience we expect you to:
– Study design briefs and determine requirements.
– Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
