Biostatistics Research Assistant (Volunteer)

Role Overview:
The Biostatistics Research Assistant supports the Research Team in analyzing research data and contributing to scientific outputs. The role focuses on statistical analysis, interpretation of research results, and supporting research projects within DSFG.

Main Responsibilities:
– Conduct statistical data analysis for research projects
– Interpret research findings and assist in explaining results
– Support preparation of research reports and documentation
– Collaborate with the research team to ensure data accuracy
– Assist in organizing datasets and maintaining research records

Required Skills:
– Flexibility and ability to work in a collaborative research environment
– Good communication skills in English
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Technical Skills:
Experience with at least one of the following tools is preferred:
– SPSS
– NVivo

Qualifications:
– Background in statistics, research methodology, or related field is an advantage
– Preference for postgraduate students (Master’s or PhD)

– Experience with data analysis tools is preferred
– Interest in academic or applied research

Commitment:
Volunteer position with flexible hours depending on research activities. In most cases between 4 – 8 h/w.
