PhD candidate and researcher at the Goethe University Frankfurt, at the faculty of social science. He is also an associate researcher at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF). Since 2021, Mustafa Karahmad is a board member at the German-Syrian research Society e.V., where he serves as the coordinator of the scholarships team at the Society
