Globales Parlamentsstipendium
This scholarship is aimed at outstanding Arab students and offers them the opportunity to learn about the German parliamentary system during a one-month program in September 2022.
The program targets outstanding Arab graduates who are interested in political issues and are ready to take on an active role in building democratic values in their home country.

Requirements for applying for a scholarship
The program includes a week in which the scholarship holders work with a member of the German Bundestag and gain insight into German politics. The scholarship holders receive €500. The program also covers healthcare costs, provides health and accident insurance, and free accommodation in an apartment. Travel expenses to and from Berlin are also fully covered.
- The applicant must be under 35 years old.
- The applicant must have a strong interest in politics or society.
- The applicant must have a university degree.
- The applicant must have fluent German language skills (at least level B2).
Scholarship application form
The application must be submitted in German and contain the following documents:
- A personal photo (to be attached on the first page of the application).
- Proof of German language skills.
- A letter of motivation in German, which may be a maximum of two pages long.
- A copy of your passport or identity card.
- A copy of your university degree in English or German. Please note that this degree must be presented at the scholarship interview.
- A letter of recommendation in English or German from a university professor or employer highlighting your qualifications for the program.
